Advantages: Robust, cheap, easy to set up

Disadvantages: Metal grilles dent easily, not much bass

I got given a set of these speakers as a present. I already had a set of speakers on the main desktop, so I use these in the garage. For a small set of speakers they sure are powerful!

To be honest, there is no setup involved with these! You just plug in and turn on. However, the sound is very good. I have had them turned up full in the garage and had no distortion. I have viewed films and heard every sound.

However there isn't much bass from these. There are some low end sounds but not 'bass', so these may not be suited as a premium set of speakers.

I have seen these going for £5 on ebay, and for a set of no frills speakers they are very good and a worthwhile buy!
