I purchased these speakers for my laptop as the sound quality was not very good, as I have a contract with Spotify set up I quite like to be able to take the laptop upstairs and set it up in my bedroom to listen to my music in here. The good thing about these is that firstly they only cost £7.99 which is really cheap I thought for a pair of speakers.
I got them from a computer shop near me and usually there things are quite cheap but I have just checked on line and you can buy them for the same price.
These are black, probably more chunky than you would like. I don't really think the size of them makes them that portable. They have a built in bass ports and you can use them with the USB fitting or you can hook up the 3.5mm jack and use the speakers with an mp3 player.
These have a volume control so you can turn them down without having to go through the computer. These have a magnetically-shielded design to reduce interference so your sound quality is really good. I love Spotify and I have it on the laptop not on my phone as it is cheaper to get the contract on here. I need speakers to use it with as the built in ones are rubbish!
These are 8 watt so they are not the most powerful but for a bedroom they work really well. I think the base is good and it makes the music sound ace. The thing with spotify is that you don't know what songs are coming on next, it is like a radio channel and you can get all sorts of music. The speakers do all the songs justice and I was really pleased with my purchase.
I have used these loads now and they have a permanent position in my bedroom on the unit, they are not very portable as they are quite big but once put on the side they are quite unobtrusive. I think for the money you are paying you are getting some speakers that are really good value for money and I would recommend them. From the tough plastic exterior to the front curved design, I think these are really. If you are looking for addition speakers for your laptop or computer then these are some of the best I have come across and they are really cheap.
In my place of work we recently opened a further classroom and have been required to use a limited budget to get the kit needed to teach the learners and be able to use the facilities we require. One thing we could not do without is a pair of quality speakers and with the limited budget we were working on we had to look for a cheaper pair and came across these Creative A40 model which cost us £7.99 in a local store and they seem to have done the job.
Creative are a well known brand and one in which from past experiences I can trust and these devices come in a stylish, small black shape in a rectangular upstanding fashion. Very small, very light and very portable which fits the needs of being moved around and stored in small spaces well.
They are easy to connect via the usb cable and this play straight from the off. They can be used on any device with a usb output and standing at 1.6 watts they provided a decent coverage.
In all the sound quality is good as you would expect. They serve both the purposes of providing close use when up front of the desktop pc and when playing material via powerpoint and videos via media players. When going loud they do sound a little bit tinny and they vibrate a little but this doesn't impair on sound. In a large classroom these can easily be heard and provide good quality reliable feedback.
The controls are easy the volume manageable and the connectivity superb. The only one downside was the short cable it comes with which is not ideal for my needs as it needs to come from a tower on the floor to a desk above it. Its only about 1m or under long so probably designed for being right next to your PC
All in all though considering the price and the value they provide excellent sound and pack a punch and should meet all your needs!
