... end. The bass is clear, crisp and very powerful for such a small subwoofer, unlike some other cheap 2.1 speakers which just gives you some random low-frequency rumble. Although bass distortion is noticable at very high volumes, this is rarely a problem for personal use in a bedroom, everything in my room starts shaking and vibrating before the speakers start distorting!. Basically, if you are not looking to fill a cathedral with music, then these speakers are quite simply excellent.

I bought these speakers from ebay for £16 a few months ago, and have been using them daily since. It is a nice compact system and fits perfectly into my small room. They have very good clarity over the entire range although they do sometimes seem to lack something at the very high end. The bass is clear, crisp and very powerful for such a small subwoofer, unlike some other cheap 2.1 speakers which just gives you some random low-frequency rumble.
