... they've never let me down and they pour out the sound quality I need. As they are a small set of speakers (2.1) they just run off a single 8mm jack cable, which fits most sound cards. The sub-woofer isn't the most powerful at 6 watts RMS, but the port tube still creates enough bass to fit with the other speakers. The speakers have the volume level and power button on the same speaker, with an LED light to tell you if they are on or not. As a student I purchased these speakers early in my first year as I had no room in my abode for my large speaker system from home. Upon recieving these speakers I was slightly skeptical about their sound quality because they were so small. Thankfully I quickly changed my mind after I plugged them into my laptop. My laptop has quite a good sound card and which ever computer speakers I have plugged in have always sounded reasonably good, these Creative speakers have been gold for me, they've never let me down and they pour out the sound quality I need.
