Advantages: Great sound quality, even at high volumes

Disadvantages: Not the cheapest (but well worth it)

I hadn't had any experience with Ipod speakers before I bought this for my boyfriend (who'd asked for some for his birthday), so it was pretty much a shot in the dark on the basis of the way it looked! It's a sleek, stylish speaker which is neither too large and chunky nor too flimsy and cheap looking. The sound quality is great - no complaints at all. We've turned it up loud when we've had friends round and there's no distortion at all, even on the bass notes. Similarly when we've had the volume down low there is no loss of quality either, there's none of the annoying fuzzy white noise you get with some appliances. The Ipod fits securely in its little slot and it's very easy to use, but with no visible controls to spoil its lines. It also has a remote control which is invaluable for lazy sofa listening!
