      Great choice

I chose this item to amplify the sound from my ipod Mini - as this is one of the older ipods it can be hard to find compatible accessories, but the Griffin has the suitable adaptor for my ipod, plus many others.

The sound quality from the unit is fantastic, it can go really loud, and fills the room with quality sound which blasts out of the front and base of the unit. The bass quality is very good - though it's not possible to alter the bass/treble levels.

Looks great, really sleek and simple design (if chunky) and dial lights up blue. Really simple to operate with the remote control that allows you to skip through the tracks on your playlist, turn on/off and adjust volume. The round dial on the front to turn on/off and adjust volume.

Worth noting that this item is pretty heavy, so not really portable, more of a permanent fixture!

Overall a fantastic product, perfect for my needs and really pleased with my choice. I've owned it for over a year and never had technical problems or even had to replace the remote battery!

Very good IPod speaker and looks great with my IPOD touch! :)

I bought Griffin Amplifi about 8months ago from Play.com
I wanted to buy a good quality with nice sound but at the same time with modern design touch. I was at first looking at Bose speaker. It was very expensive for what it was. Alternatively, I came across this product on line.
Don't put you off with the brand name you may not have heard of before. I know it's not household name like Sony, Bose, Samsung but this amplifier is amazing and am well impressed with built quality and sound.

Followings are my brief summary for this product.

Sound Quality: Amazing. I don't have to turn it up much to have a decent sound. There are lots of IPod speakers out there but This one is absolutely superb. Base speaker is underneath speaker frame and producing a great sound.

Design and Quality: If you lift this Griffin Amplifi you will feel the built quality. It's quite hefty and doesn't give you other cheap feeling at all. Love the blue LED light when it is on. Simple but very decorative in your bedroom. Remote control is very handy and not complicated at all.
Charges your IPOD while listening as well which is very handy.

Price: If you shop around such as Amazon, play.com you may find it under 100 pounds for a brand new one. So, please shop around :)

Overall, I highly recommend this product for the price and very good quality and love this one very much since I bought it. Very well done Griffin
