When we had our old computer, we were absolutely lost when the speaker packed up after about a year, they really are a vital part of the PC setup and you don't realise how much you use them until they are gone. Luckily, a chap who worked with my husband gave him these speakers, which he was getting rid of. I had never heard of the brand harman/kardon before we had these speakers, but apparently the are a really high quality brand who make top of the range products, the industry standard.
