Bought secondhand from E-bay February 2007. Plug and play into any USB port and instantly works on any system that is XP windows. I can`t tell you if it works on new windows vista systems. The base unit resembles an upside down goldfish bowl and two oblong speakers with four tweeters in each speaker give you your higher notes.
