      Cute HP Multimedia Speakers!

      HP Multimedia Speakers

I am a lover of music and my husband brought me these HP PC Multimedia Speakers to use with my pc to listen to songs that I like. The speakers are a product of China and are of excellent quality.

      Sound Quality

The sound quality is excellent! The response bandwidth is 60 - 18000 Hz. The speakers do not vibrate when you listen to music at high volumes. I tend not use the highest volume and stick to medium volumes. However, the sound quality is so good and my pc is now my replacement hi-fi system for listening to music on youtube!

      Design

The best thing about the speakers are that they are lightweight and not chunky! These small speakers are ever so cute and make my pc look beautiful! There are two speakers which you can place on the right and left hand side of your computer. One speaker is plain with no buttons and the other speaker has a tuning button which you can turn to reduce or increase volume and tone. There is also a power button (only on the right speaker) which you can use to switch off the speakers, while the pc is switched on. On both speakers, the middle section of the speaker is made of shiny material which is wipeable and displays the hp logo. Three quarters of the speaker is covered with net type material (typically found on all speakers) and I found that this could get dirty quickly and was difficult too clean but I still managed to clean it with a damp cloth to get it looking beautiful and clean again. The bottom section is made of a thicker coarser type of material. The connectivity technology is wired; there is one wire for the usb port and one wire for the speaker port. I currently use these speakers in conjunction with my packard bell desktop pc.

      Value For Money

My husband brought me these speakers from Tesco Direct for £19.97 and he also paid a shipping charge of £5. It is available on Amazon for £28.99, Woolworths.co.uk (online) for £15, and you can also buy it directly from the HP website for £15. I am not sure why the price varies so much but the speakers are of such good quality and are definitely value for money.

      Ease of Installation

The speakers are very easy to install and a CD is not required for installation. A driver is also not required when installing the CD. The speakers support USB 1.1 and 2.0 systems. To use the speakers you just connect the speakers to the pc by connecting the usb cable to the usb port and the black cable with the green end to connect the speakers to the sound port.

When you switch your computer off, the speakers will automatically shut down as well. This is quite handy as I am sure that like me, you may forget to switch off accessories while shutting down the computer! When the speakers are switch the green light on the right speaker illuminates and love this feature because it's useful to know when the speakers are switched on and off. .

      Conclusion

The speakers are such good quality and if you are interested in purchasing the speakers, the manufacturing code of the speakers is GL313AA. It is out of stock on the hp website, the last time I checked! It is available from Tesco and Woolworths!
