JBL Creature II

My partner purchased these JBL Creature II speakers for use in our our bedroom with the intention of using them with our ipod. My first impression were that they were certainly different, but in a good way. We purchased the speakers for £65.00 and the prices have held in most stores with retail prices ranging from £60.00 - £70.00. Like much of the technology I seem to buy these days, I bought these speakers for my girlfriend, and at the same time made the classic mistake of buying something purely based on looks. I judged a book by its cover, and the content turned out to be less than inspiring. To start with the positive, the speakers are incredibly good looking, easy to set up, and feel very solid and well constructed. They make a great centrepiece for any office environment, and at £49.99 they are reasonably affordable. BRILLIANT SYSTEM. The JBL Creature II are amazing. I bought my set for £50 from amazon and have definatly been the best speakers i have ever owned. Firstly they look brillaint. With the domed sub woofer and two small speaker they look cool sitting on my desk. I have the black set however they are also available in which and rarely silver. The sub woofer has to controls, one for bass and the other for treble. With these you can adjust your system to mee your sound needs. The bass is amazing, making the desk shake. I got these speakers for £49.99 from amazon.co.uk and what a great buy they were ! They look very space age with the so called Darth Vaders helmet esque woofer for all your bass needs and two small speakers that complete the package. Easy to set up as they connect to your computer with a mini jack that you can plug into your headphone socket or soundcard. The smaller speakers are 8 watts each and the woofer is 24 watt so as you can imagine, they pack a fair ole punch.
