... hooked up to my laptop to provide brilliant sound when watching DVD's and games. I recently traded in my stereo and now just have the JBL speakers plugged in to my MP3 player. They take up no space at all and more than meet my needs. I'm now sound expert but i have never had a problem with the sound quality. They are so good that two of my mates bought the same speakers for themselves after using mine. The only thing that would make these speakers better would be if they could charge your mp3 player at the same time....more

These speakers are phenomenal. I bought these on a whim because i just wanted some portable speakers for my MP3 but these turned in to one of the most useful pieces of electrical equipment i have ever bought. The sound quality is brilliant especially considering the very small size of the speakers. I tend to use the speakers when i go camping or out for a picnic as they are really really light but have more than enough power to get people singing and dancing. Like all portable speakers they don't last forever on batteries alone and I would say this is the only downside.
