JBL On Tour ... is a sliding cover that protects the two speakers and when open, helps stand the speakers up. The speakers come with a jack that will go in to any headphones socket, this means it can be used with pretty much any MP3 player or stereo. I have used the speakers hooked up to my laptop to provide brilliant sound when watching DVD s and games. I recently traded in my stereo and now just have the JBL speakers plugged in to my MP3 player. They take up no space at all and more than meet my needs. I m now sound expert but i have never had a problem with the sound quality. They are so good that two of my mates bought the same speakers for themselves after using mine. The only... JBL Creature ... may look as if the aliens have landed, but these are infact speakers. They can be used for PC, TV, games console etc. The Good: Firstly these speakers pack a punch. The sound is rich and powerful and they will fill a medium sized room no problem. The whole system takes up very little space. The satellite speakers are tiny and the subwoofer is very compact also. They represent good value for money and can be had for around £45-50. The not so good: The controls are fiddly and you can t tell at what level the volume, treble or bass is set by looking at the knobs/buttons. It all has to be done by ear. JBL Creature ... Is It?=== The JBL mulitmedia speaker system "woofers" are a speaker set. It comes with the big sub-woofer and 2 smaller satelite speakers. These are designed for the best quality music able for computers. ===What is It Compatible With?=== It says in the title PC multimedia, but i just plugged it onto my Mac G5 and it worked fantastically! That is a bit misleading as it can work with basically any mulitimedia appliance. It works with all Macs and PC s but it also even works with Laptops, porartable DVD players, walkmans and even MP3/ipods!
