Free Jelly Beans too what is not to like!

I found this on a reduced shelf in Boots about 4 weeks ago instead of £15 it was just £6. My daughter has a tablet and she likes to watch films on it but the sound isn't great as it is a cheap tablet. I had a mini speaker previously but it got broken so I was thrilled to see this on sale. The speaker comes in a red box which is covered in red Jelly Belly jelly beans. The speaker is described as 'Very Cherry' they also had other colours available including pink and orange. The speaker is compatible with most portable devices. Inside the box you get an instruction manual, the speaker and a wire which duplicates as a charging wire and a wire to connect the speaker to your device as a bonus you also get a small packet of yummy Jelly Belly beans. The speaker is small it is about the size of a small satsuma, it has the words 'Jelly Belly' on the front and the vents are shaped like jelly beans. The design of the speaker means that it can either be used as it comes out of the box or it can be twisted to open it up to give more sound. The speaker is rechargeable and it needs to be charged using the wire connection. One side is a USB connection and the other a micro USB, the charging wire has a little winder on it to make it longer or shorter. I didn't connect it to a computer to charge I used a wall charger I have. It didn't take long to charge and there is a little light on the side that tells you once it is fully charged, it is red when charging and green once the charging is completed. According the the instructions it delivers 2.2 W of sound and has a frequency response or 100HZ - 20KHZ if I am totally honest that mean nothing to me! To use the speaker you need to connect it to your device and turn it on using the side button at the side, the button also doubles up as a volume control. There isn't much scope for volume levels and I could only get 2 levels of sound, so we use the volume control on the tablet and leave the speaker on it's loudest when it is on. When the speaker is on the power light is green. The first time I used this speaker I was impressed by the sound quality. It isn't as good as the mini speaker I had previously but considering it is made mainly of plastic the sound is good also because of the small size of the speaker it fits nicely in our tablet case and is great for on the go. The speaker lasts about 8 hours on full volume after a charge. I would recommend this speaker it is cute looking and would appeal to kids and teenagers. It gives good sound quality and for us it is essential as watching a film on the tablet with no speaker is hard as the volume is so low we can barely hear it. My only negative is the cheapness of the plastic but then for £6.50 I can't complain.
