I bought this speaker system because I liked the style of it and because I wanted a system that was reasonable quality at low cost. The technical specifications don't mean much to me to be honest so they didn't have much bearing on the purchase. Frequency response: 35hz to 20Kh, 5.5 watts RMS each side. 19 watts RMS subwoofer at 10% distortion. (That means you get almost pure sound but the original frequency is altered by up to 10%) These specifications mean that these are fairly sensitive and about mid range as computer speakers go, (taking into account quality and price.) When I won the prize of some Labtec flat speakers in a computer magazine, I was thrilled. I’d never won anything before, so I eagerly awaited their arrival. And I waited. And I waited some more. I wrote some several emails to enquire the speakers whereabouts’, each reply saying they’d chase it up. Each time, resulting in nothing more than empty words. Nine months after my winning the prize, I decided one more try, before finally having to admit defeat. I was apologised to, and promised the speakers would turn up by the following Friday.
