Unfortunately, my laptop speakers have never been very good so I decided after a while of struggling to listen to music and my programmes to buy some speakers. I was a student at the time so had very little money so very little choice in which ones to buy. In fact, these were my only choice from my local shop.

They seemed good enough at the time. Even if I had the money, I don't think I would have ended up getting much better ones anyway and seeing as all I wanted to do was listen to music in my room and watch TV these seemed suitable enough for me.

It wasn't until I got home and plugged them in that I realised I probably should have gone for ones with a bit more quality. I should have just waited for my next pay day and splurged on ones with a better brand.

The sound can be good quality but only when the volume is very low. Seeing as I was buying speakers so that I could get some higher volume, this was a huge indicator that I had made a mistake. When the volume went up, the sound would crackle. Not the occasional crackle but constant, irritating 'WHY DID YOU BUY ME' crackles. I didn't buy them second hand so seriously doubt it had anything to do with damage. This is purely a badly made product.
