Advantages: Subwoofer has lots of bass
Disadvantages: Lack of advanced features
---- * Background * ---
I wanted to get some speakers that packed a bit of a punch in terms of bass and were of a decent standard for a smallish price. I found these to be relatively cheap, and I have always trusted Logitech in terms of quality, and to some degree have some brand loyalty to the firm, having other logitech products ( I have a logitech keyboard, mouse, webcam and speakers.)
--- About the Product, sound quality ---
The speakers are easy to connect and come with cables that are plenty enough in length to fit to systems that are quite seperated from where you want them to be. The Subwoofer, is where all the connections and leads are fitted, and the main power switch, you will only need to configure this once, and then you can use the buttons / knobs on the front left speaker to control the sound.
I have the speakers connected to my pc, and use it to play the main music from iTunes (as iTunes gives more options when configuring EQ, balance, bass and treble and so on). The subwoofer gives plenty of depth to the bass in music and the two main speaker power enough to sound reasonable well.
-- Overall --
This is a simple setup, not many advanced features, but at the price, this is the norm. Can recommend for those that want some cheap BUT decent speakers.
Summary: Overall inexpensive good speakers

- 21/07/09 I have the X530 (5.1 surround version). They're great for the price. |
