Nowadays market of computer speakers is very large as most of companies try to make them work either on other platforms. Creative x530 is only one of them and does it perfectly.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you are looking for a home theatre speaker system under £50 this is the one for you. That is the price I paid for them.

Installation

Very easy. After unpacking all satellites, connected them to sub woofer, this one to pc and that's it. Installed easily software, reboot system and till then did not have to do anything else with them.

When playing music you can make them work as stereo or reselected up mix. Can change balance between front and rear speakers and adjust each one's volume. They've done seriously huge impression on me. Music is clear and thanks to double channel mode on satellites sound seems to be even fuller of bass.

I have them connected to Creative Audigy 7.1 sound card and have to give them the biggest note for everything, They are wall mountable (even when on the wall, base is still adjustable so you can direct them on you), design is nice, installation very simple.
They are so loud (even thought do not lose quality) that have never turned them to maximum.

Great stuff, so if you are looking for a proper speakers to play your games, watch DVD I can highly recommend them.
