These Logitech speakers are very impressive, no need buying a high-end speaker the sound system is very clear and realistic, user-friendly and powerful. I use these frequently in my room and for house parties. It is a great improvement system from the previous Logitech's such as Z-3 esp in looks too i still think these are by far the most attractive ones.. Very impressed by these speakers. I was way due for a sound system upgrade as my old Labtecs were falling apart (one of the satellites had died, and it was starting to get thermo-nuclear if used for any length of time). I was sorely tempted to blow a huge amount of cash on some Bose speakers, but having read the very positive reviews online I thought I'd go for these instead. And I'm, very glad that I did. These speakers are exactly what I needed for my student bedroom. Aside from having perfectly decent sound quality, the important advantages of this particular setup are as follows: 1) the headphone in, and audio in at the front of the controller means that changing input sources, and listening with headphones can both be performed tangle free 2) the colour fits in nicely with black monitors 3) the adjustable base is a great help as if listening at night, you can still listen at a reasonable volume without disturbing neighbours or other people in the house who may be sleeping.
