Very impressed by these speakers. I was way due for a sound system upgrade as my old Labtecs were falling apart (one of the satellites had died, and it was starting to get thermo-nuclear if used for any length of time). I was sorely tempted to blow a huge amount of cash on some Bose speakers, but having read the very positive reviews online I thought I'd go for these instead. And I'm, very glad that I did. I'm no audiophile but I like my music loud and I like it bassy and these speakers certainly deliver on that.

The sound quality is more than adequate for general home use, be it music or videos/films. The 2.1 surround is more noticable when using them for video, but you still a very rich and full sound when listening to music, and most importantly, they don't sacrifice sound quality for volume. Even at it's highest volume and bass settings the sound is still crisp.

Personally, I use an equaliser to tune the bass and treble settings a bit. But I tried these without and the result was still quality sound.

All in all, if you're looking for a decent set of speakers for home use that aren't going to break the bank, then these are great! Sod spending £250 on some Bose ones :-p
