Logitech X 230 ... now, i have only ever used standard desktop speakers. I was disappointed at the maximum volume. I wanted the best (loudest and clearest) speakers for the price, and here they are. Other reviews i have seen have stated that the bass is too heavy on these speakers. It is apparent in some songs and speech, but it can be adjusted on the back of the bass speaker. When turned up, music is clear are extremely loud, easily enough to fill the largest of rooms and far more. The satellites are also wall mountable, which is extremely convenient. The controls of the front of the right satellite have a nice feel, and there is also a headphone jack. These speakers are stunning... Read the full review: Wont get better for that price. Logitech Z 4 ... Logitech speakers are very impressive, no need buying a high-end speaker the sound system is very clear and realistic, user-friendly and powerful. I use these frequently in my room and for house parties. It is a great improvement system from the previous Logitech s such as Z-3 esp in looks too i still think these are by far the most attractive ones.. The Z4 has a wired remote control with one big dial (loudness) and a mini dial (bass), you can easily control and adjust the bass or the loudness. The control is very convenient and easy to use. once dial turned which ever way the sound/bass would react immediately no lag or difference what so ever, it interacts spont... Logitech Z 5500 Digital ... bought these speakers about 12 months ago and are still working flawlessly. I have them linked to my X-Fi XtremeMusic Soundcard in my PC and the sound quality is exceptional, whether its playing back music, games or movies! the only thing to bear in mind when purchasing these speakers is the size of the subwoofer. it is very very big, however it produces clear deep bass notes. the control unit is excellent and provides many different sound modes whilst supporting Dolby ProLogic II and different connections including Coax, Optical and Analouge.
