... access, and there's also a free app (dock studio) that comes with this item if you want to use the dock as an alarm clock or radio station via your i-phone, which once docked will charge and synch with your PC, I don't use the app a great deal, preferring to use the dock from my directly, but when I have used it I've found everything straightforward and with no glitches. You can power the dock via the supplied AC unit or it will also take four AA batteries if you want it to be more portable.

I've been using this little compact little dock mainly as a speaker for my PC for about 6 months now. It sits easily on the desk as it's only 21cm wide, 15cm deep and 13.5 cm high and at the £40 I paid for it (the price for this fluctuates substantially on amazon and tesco direct from £35 - 70) it's an extremely good looking piece of kit in my opinion, even though it's fairly low on features it makes up for it by being simple to use and having a great sound for its size. The dock will take any iPhone and also i-pod, though not an i-pad - for that you will have to buy a larger model in this range or you can use the aux-in for your sound. It's kept minimal ...
