I haven't had these speakers that long but i love them. I bought them new off Ebay for about £32 which is a really good price for them as they normally retail around £60. The set consists of two stand alone speakers as you can see in the image above, but you also get a large power pack. One speaker, the one with the power and volume controls has a wire that connects to the power pack and a small hole. This small hole is where the second speaker connects to. For some individuals like myself, the thought of having a 3 piece speaker system seems a hassle. Then again how many 2.0 speaker sets have satisfied with high quality sound at a sub £100 price tag? -> not even a handful! Cutting straight to the point, I bought these speakers, purely on some reviews, the need to have sleek speakers that could be used with different sources, all at a cheap price tag. One thing to note, is I have never seen the need for a headphone jack with speakers? except with low end computer speakers. Then again, I pose the question. If you have speakers why use earphones?
