Philips SBC BA250

I've had these for a couple of years - have used it for my personal CD player and my brother has used it for his laptop computer. I am currently using this for my desktop computer, and I have this running from the mains (can also run on 6 AA batteries). Not the loudest, which is understandable considering the size which, whilst small, is not what I could call mini. A stylish silver with blue set consisting of two speakers and an amp, the sound quality is good, with a cutting edge to it but there is also a bass boost to fill in at the low end with a dial to adjust the level of bass. I got these speaker is 2004 and they are still going strong. I have taken them on holiday, to school and they are now my computer speakers. They can be used about every where. Amazing piece of kit. ( been half way around the world) Hardley dented at all. Unlike normal computer speakers or portable speakers these include a small amplifier with the volume control and added "bass boost " controls.
