I purchased these speakers for my Dell Inspiron over a year ago, I decided to chose them because my uncle is a tech wizard and told me about them. They did cost a bit more than the one im reviewing, about £50 in PC World but besides that its a good investment for me. This has screamed music out in summer times, barbecues and parties. The speakers are usually setup with the computer but I do sometimes use them with my mums Mp3 and to give the CD player a boost also. The thing i like most about it is that you can plu in a headset or headphones and chill out for your own personal listening. I have tinkered with the settings so when i play techno or RnB it really shakes the desktop ^_^. But at the same time they are tall and may not be too discrete for some, so if your looking for a really simple pair of headphones then look no further and buy these. The sound quality itself is average, i use it everyday and out of 5 i'd give it a 4 really because its not the best on the market, ive heard better. Below are the Pros and Cons of the Phillips SPA3200.
->Bass boost gives you that deeper and richer sound
->Multimedia so plug in devices and see how they work
->Additional socket gives an extra port to plug your headset/headphones in
->The wire is not really long, on my desktop they teeter from the edges.
Overall i give it (5)*****out of (5)*****stars
This was an SDpwnage review i hope you enjoyed it.....PEACE
I purchased these speakers with my laptop last September for use at university.
All the cables connecting them together are of reasonable length allowing good positioning of the speakers on a desk. One speaker is connected to the mains supply with then a smaller cable coming of that speaker to the second. A standard plug in jack on a cable runs of one which can then be plugged into any standard socket on a laptop, computer or mp3 player.
I was at first slightly concerned they would be too quiet however I was very surprised by the high volume they are capable of considering their power and size.
The sound quality is very good at almost all frequencies and volumes although as with most speakers slightly distortion can be heard when the speakers are working on a loud song at full volume.
Overall I am extremely happy with these speakers especially considering the cost of only £15 in a sale.
