Philips SPA2600: ... and I didn t have much in the way of money to spend on one. So after searching for a long time comparing products, I managed to narrow my options down to this one, and a more expensive Logitech system that cost just over fifty pounds. I decided to go for this cheaper Philips system simply because I didn t like the speakers of the Logitech. To be honest I wasn t really expecting much from this surround sound system,...

... Portable Speaker System belongs to the Philips brand, a brand I ve grown to trust over the years. They look rather neat, and are advertised as being "powerful and compact," so imagine my surprise (and disappointment) when I purchased them only to discover how poor they really are. Firstly, I tried them with my MP3 player, and when I got such poor (and quiet) sound quality, I thought the problem must be with my MP3 player itself and not the speakers. After all, my player is a few years old and isn t exactly the best money can buy. So remaining hopeful, I decided to hook them up to my laptop (which was actually the main reason for buying them.) What did I di...

... some individuals like myself, the thought of having a 3 piece speaker system seems a hassle. Then again how many 2.0 speaker sets have satisfied with high quality sound at a sub £100 price tag? -> not even a handful! Cutting straight to the point, I bought these speakers, purely on some reviews, the need to have sleek speakers that could be used with different sources, all at a cheap price tag. One thing to note, is I have never seen the need for a headphone jack with speakers? except with low end computer speakers. Then again, I pose the question. If you have speakers why use earphones? The build quality is top notch. The speakers themselves come in a metal /pl...

... I love Philips products, in my house i have so many Philips products and they have always been great and look fantastic and these PC speakers are no different. They look great, sound great and will fit into any home computer system. Price: I bought them for around £30 new on Amazon and they arrived within two days. There are quite a few places these speakers can be bought. I think they are available at Argos, PC World and many other large retailers but i found that the cheapest prices were on Amazon and other internet sites. Pc World have them for around £40. How they arrived: They were packed very well. I opened the box and found everything that was surposed to...
