Advantages: Superb sound quality, and all the features you could ever want.

Disadvantages: I'm yet to come across any.

The Sony Ericsson MDS-65 Desk Stand is a marvellous piece of kit for any Sony Ericsson phone user.

Much like the brilliant iPod speaker systems that charge your iPod as well as playing your music with pristine quality, this does all that and more, and it's for your phone!

The sound quality is one of the best I have heard from this type of speaker system. With volume controls that actually do something to the sound of the music rather than some of the cheap models that seem to do nothing at the press of a button! Want it loud, you can have it booming... but want it quite and it's right there at the touch of a button! The advanced volume controls come from the ability to choose the volume by your phone, and on top of this, by the speaker system itself.

If your phone has an FM radio designed into it, then your speaker system, that charges your phone and offers superb quality has now just become a radio device too!

Don't worry about missing a call either! If anything occurs on your phone, be that a text or call, it will simply stop the music temporarily, notify you of the test of call, then begin playing the song again, and conveniently, it plays a second or two again of the track before the call, so you haven't missed a thing!

It runs off the mains or batteries so it's even portable! Take it on holiday to liven up your trip!

And what tops it off is the in-line jack, so forget about getting any other speakers to play your phone and MP3 player... this is the perfect device for your phone and MP3 player.

It's the perfect all-in-one! What doesn't it do? And for around £50, this is definitely a worthwhile investment!
