Trust MiLa 2.0 Speaker Set
Advantages: They are cheap, they look ok
Disadvantages: They are not top of the range
I am not a very technical person; I know a vague amount about computers, enough to get by really. I am not a technophobe though, I just don't geek out on all the technical jargon when it comes to buying new equipment.
The week before Christmas, the speakers on my daughter's computer packed up. They had served us well and although I could have done without having to buy more, we waved a final sad goodbye to the old set knowing Trust had done a good job. The old set had two side speakers and a boom box, I was going to purchase another set like this (more for the fiancé when he listens to music than anyone else's benefit). Obviously the week before Christmas, I was going to be lucky to find anything anywhere, I tried Argos but the ones I wanted were out of stock, I had already spend hours traipsing the high street so decided to buy a cheap set just to cover the Christmas period and I would replace them in the New Year. I opted for a set of Trust Mila 2.0 Speakers; I paid £6.99 from Argos and took them home pleased as punch. They are plug and play and although they come with an instruction leaflet, it is pretty simple. I did however have a couple of issues when I first plugged them in, this may have been my computer having a problem though, rather than the speakers.
The official blurb on the speakers is as follows: USB powered, no wall power needed. Compatible with 3.5mm audio connection. Easy install. Volume controls. Plug and play. Headphone jack. Satellite speakers:2 x 5 watt satellite speakers. Size H18.5, W7.5, D9.5cm.Centre speaker: General information: Manufacturer's 3 year guarantee.
They are basic black speakers with silver parts; there is a funky blue light on one speaker, along with the on/off button, headphone point and volume knob. For basic speakers that cost very little they are very good, I don't want concert pitch out of them after all it is for the odd youtube video, music etc. I don't even think I will bother replacing them as they look ok and sound good. Defiantly worth the money.
Summary: For the price you cant go wrong, perfect for a computer
