I bought this set of speakers a few weeks ago from Amazon.co.uk. It cost me about 16 pounds, which I think is fair good price comparing to the price.

===== Basic features =====

This is a compact design 2.1 speaker set which contains a wooden subwoofer and two satellite speakers. The subwoofer is designed with aluminum front and bass reflex. In front, there are volume control button, bass control button and power button. The volume and bass control buttons are metal and the power button is plastic. The rest of subwoofer is wooden and in black colour. The two satellite speakers are in black colour with silver edge. Personally I think the shape of design is very good as show in the product picture.

This speak set is suitable for desktops, laptops and TVs. It is designed as magnetically shielded for positioning near monitor or TV.

===== Setting up =====

The set up process is relatively easy especially with the instruction diagrams provided. I would not think it will cost many efforts to do that. Like all other speaker systems, there are red and white colour indicating for right and left. There is one audio line-in wire that is about 2 meters long. It is enough for me to connect with my laptop; however, it may be a bit shorter if you are using it in a larger room. The speaker wires are a bit shorter than the audio line-in wire, which are about 1.5 meters long. To start using them, just simply plug in speaker and audio lines, then connect to your computer and power it on.

===== Sound Quality ======

I generally think the sound quality is very good. There are no hisses or any back noises. It would not compete with other powerful speakers or super surrounding sound system but for the normal 2.1 speaker set it does deserve for its price. The volume and bass buttons have very good adjustment of desirable bass and volume level.
