I bought two sets of these speakers, one for each computer system I was having built. The problem with sound systems, you don't know how good they are until you get them home and try them out.
Powerful subwoofer speaker set with 1 x 10 Watt + 2 x 2 Watt RMS output;
Excellent deep bass provided by separate wooden subwoofer;
Including remote control for power, bass and master volume adjustment;
Attractive design with metal coloured satellite speakers;
For realistic sound effects and high quality music;
Also suitable to connect to gaming consoles such as PlayStation 2, X-Box and GameCube.
There is a base speaker (subwoofer) which I have sitting on the floor, behind my computer and two general speakers that sit either side of my monitor. The speakers themselves are a quite futuristic design and the silver colouring makes them modern and stylish. The base speaker is a basic rectangle box, nothing fancy there but as I have it situated away from sight, it is not something that causes a problem. The whole set up is easily connected to your computer; it also works on a plug and play basis. There is a teardrop shaped controller with an on/off button with a green light, two dials, one for the volume and one for base. The volume control is effective and the volume can be very loud, the base also works very well indeed, having the separate subwoofer really does make a difference when listening to songs or playing some games online or just generally on your computer. I have been using these speakers now for about 2 years and the volume controller has turned a little temperamental of late, I think there may be a loose wire inside as it can turn itself off if any of the controller is touched or moved. There are two wires that come out of the controller, one that leads to the subwoofer and the other leads to the other two speakers. The larger of the two leads is quite stiff and difficult to manoeuvre, I think it is the moving of this thicker cable that has started the loose wire problems.
I would definatly get another set of these though, very good speakers all in all.
