katie29 Arabic On The Move (Audio CD)
... on the move I am one of these people that like to be able to speak at least a little of the language when i go on holiday even if it is just the basics.Personally i think that it is rude not to,i hate it when i am at work and i have tourists in that can only say "hello" and "i don t understand/i can t speak English".I also think that people tend to be nicer to you if you are at least attempting to speak the language. As you can tell i bought this audio language program with a holiday in mind.I probably wont go to Dubai for about another year but at least i will be prepared . What you get The pack consists of three cds and a listening guide.T...

Midrange On the Town with the League of Gentlemen (Audio CD)
... League of Gentlemen have appeared is many guises. They are probably best known for their surreal, dark comedy television series that hit the BBC in the late 90s. They have also toured with two stage shows (both available on DVD), starred in a feature length film and published several books that explore further the actor s eccentricities and the bizarre world of their fictional characters. The original radio series is, in my opinion, a wonderful taster of the great things to come. All the best loved characters are their - fully fledged and in top form. As I watched the television series first, I already had vivid pictures of the character s appearance and the locatio...

I think that listening to it would be nothing like physically reading it, the experience of having the book in your hands is what makes this enjoyable. This is a very interesting idea. The opening sentence of this book is "Burn this book". The reader is being spoken to by Jakabok Botch, demon trapped inside the book, pleading, threatening and entreating you, trying to get you to burn it. He tells you his tale of how he came to the world from hell, how he travelled and murdered, how he found a great secret. And all the while he asks you to burn the book and be done with it. It s not interesting he says. I...
