gooeyuk I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue: In Search of Mornington Crescent (Audio CD): ... of all, if you don t already know what game of Mornington Crescent is about, do not buy these CDs as it will have you almost entirely baffled. Needless to say it s little to do with a Tube station in London and less to do with the street of the same name. If, however, you re an afficianado of Mornington Crescent then these CDs are little belters. Mornington Crescent is a game played on the Radio 4 panel game...

Good_Guy Angels and Demons (Audio CD)
... and Demons by Dan Brown, is probably best known as the author of the Da Vinci Code and this audio version is read very ably by Richard Poe. Richard added to my enjoyment as a narrator he was very easy to listen to and gave the various characters some added identity which served to make the whole thing more entertaining. A beautiful Italian physicist, Vittoria Vetra and a Harvard professor of religious iconology, Robert Langdon join forces in a frantic race through the streets of Rome, attempting to follow some indecipherable clues on the path of illumination. The clues lead to various churches dotted around the streets of Rome. To make things even more tense, four...

surfaholic18 The Secret Garden (Audio CD)
... Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett is one of the best children s books I have ever read and to have it on an audio CD was brilliant. The novel was first published in 1911 and it is by far Burnett s most popular book. It is a children s novel that has the most wonderful story and is 234 pages making it less appealing to children! However, the audio CD effectivly cancels out this issue for your children. I really would recommend this audio CD because it is very well read by Beryl Reid in an engaging voice and perhaps more importantly it is a beautiful book. The story is about a girl called Mary who has lost her parents very sadly and she hasn t really ever got ov...

surfaholic18 A Little Princess (Audio CD)
... Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett really is a beautifully written novel. It was originally published in 1905 and and is a children s novel. Considering the novel is over 290 pages I felt it would be a much better idea to buy it on audio CD for the children because they would likely to lose interest! I would really recommend this audio CD version of the novel if you have children or to give as a present. It is one of the great children s books in my opinion and is superbly written throughout. The novel is about a girl named Sara Crewe whose father loses a lot of money and is made bankrupt as a result. Sara used to have a fabulous lifestyle with great whealth b...
