Adrian Mole has been a favourite of children for many years. From his growing pains at age 13 ¾ to his adulthood we have followed his adventures and confusion at the world around him. The audio tape of the book 'The Cappuccino years' is hilarious and follows him now that he has grown up and is divorced. To say much about the contents of the tape would spoilt it, but it is all we have come to expect of from Sue Townsend. It is in diary style just as the other books in the series, but this time there is room for more sarcasm and subtle wit as well as the insightful comments which are almost thrown away in the casual off hand style with which they are delivered. This is a good audio book, and definitely worth getting.
