This radio comedy follows the lives of Jermaine Clement and Brett McKenzie, two kiwis in a band called Flight of the Conchords, who are trying to make it big in London. The massive success in this BBC radio series led to the boys getting a TV deal with HBO to create the hugely sucessful Flight of the Conchords TV series.
The series is features some very big UK comedy stars including Rob Brydon who narrates the series and Jimmy Carr as a fan. The series includes all their brilliant folk parodies which the two are now famous for. The songs are hilariously funny and you will be quoting lines from the show after listening to it. Apparently the majority of the show is improvised and it has the feel of a natural almost documentary-like view in to the world of Brett and Jermaine. The fact that it is not all scripted shows the pure talent these guys have. Their manager Brian, played by Rhyss Darby, is the funniest character, he is trying his hardest to get gigs and get a record deal for the boys but is terrible at his job.
I discovered the Flight of the Conchords Radio series after watching the TV series so alot of the material is similar. It is a little weird as Murray in the TV series is called Brian and some of the songs are interupted with sound bits which is a shame as the songs are so good just by themselves.

Flight of the Conchords is hilariously funny and with 3cds there is hours of entertainment.

Summary: this is comdey genius and i would definitely recommend it
