Ralph's insomnia gets worse when Ed Deepneau gets out of control.
Ed is obsessed with the notion that Derry is becoming the new Armageddon and that time is ticking away for the residents. An evil of imaginable proportions has begun and Ralph has one chance to beat it.
I listened to this as an audio book as i never have the patience to read Stephen King books although i do like them.
The guy reading the book was American of course and he has a cosy American accent which made listening to this book a better experience.
The story line was pretty simple it is about a guy whose wife dies and he starts to suffer from insomnia, listening to it made me feel that i have now had a first hand experience with insomnia!
I think if it was not for the cozy American accent and i was actually reading the book i would of found the book quite boring and probably would not have finished reading it but listening to it for some reason it had my attention.
Unless you are familiar with Stephen Kings style you may not have the patience to read this book as there is not much to the story line, it starts of all exciting and then the story line dwindles down much of the book being about detailed effects of the insomnia then it gets a bit more exciting at the end. It is a well written book as are all Stephen King books but the story line was not one of his best in my opinion.
