3rd & Bird is a cbeebies programme for pre-schoolers which is about a little group of different birds that live in a beautiful tree community called 3rd and bird.

My daughter has just turned four and has enjoyed watching 3rd and bird since it was first shown in 2008. I knew she would enjoy it as it was created by Josh Selig who also created the Wonder pets which she absolutely loves and both shows have lovable characters and the same style of unusual animation.

I got this Audio CD for my daughter as she likes to listen to them in her room when she is playing on her own and occasionally I will let her listen to them in bed if she is still a bit restless after her bedtime story. This is now her best CD and she frequently asks for this one over her others and likes to sing along with the songs and laugh at the stories.

Samuel's dance

The stories all include some very catchy songs and the total length of all the stories on this CD is 50 minutes.

The 3rd and Bird Characters on this CD are:
Muffin - a very cute pre-school lovebird.
Samuel - Muffin's elder brother.
Rudy - a Cockatiel, Samuel's best friend.
Quinn - a puffin that enjoys inventing things.
Mr. Beakman - the children's teacher who is a toucan.
Missy - a French Great Blue Turaco who enjoys dressing up.
Mrs. Billingsley - a kiwi who loves to garden.
Mr and Mrs Lovebird - Muffin and Samuel's parents.

I think if your kids enjoy watching 3rd and bird on the TV then they will love this too.

I believe there is now another 3rd and bird CD out called Go Camping and other stories which we will definitely be purchasing sooner or later.
