Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo:
... that is known to be harsh on the skin and potentially dangerous to our health. However I am slightly disappointed to see that there is a paraben in there (methylparaben), which I am quite surprised about as Aveda portray themselves as selling natural products. I learn on their website* that they are phasing parabens out of their products and developing new formulas without parabens. Aveda don t test on animals, wh... Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo ... myself. My hair does feel nicely conditioned though and not dry at all, but no noticeable increase in shine which I would expect from a premium band shampoo with a price tag to match (almost £10 for a 250ml bottle) As you can probably tell, this shampoo/conditioner has not lived up to its hype for me, and I haven t even got to my main problem with this - THE SMELL!! For me, the rosemary and mint is completely overpowering. I think a shampoo fragrance needs to be subtle, and not something that is going to clash with my perfume which this shampoo seems to. For me, Aveda have gone completely over the top with this fragrance, and I will certainly not be trying it again.... Read the full review: Rosemary and Mint - best left in the herb patch by LadyS |

Aveda All Sensitive Moisturizer ... them, they moisturise very well, however, upon applying make-up over them I have had to take great care that I don t end up with a claggy caked effect. With this Aveda product that has not happened at all. Application- I always apply moituriser to a clean washed face, then tend to put my make-up on almost immediatly after. The Aveda spreads over the face very well, as I have already mentioned, a tiny amount, a penny sized blob, covers the entire face. It is absorbed very quickly, leaving my face soft, smooth with no tightness at all. After a few seconds, I am ready for make-up. There is absolutly no stickyness, so foundation can be applied very smoothly and pow... Read the full review: Aveda All Sensitive by joannan |

Aveda Hand Relief ... - like many Aveda products the smell is very "herby" and whilst the Foot Relief has just the right mix, I must admit I find it a bit overpowering in a hand cream. The fragrance also lasts for quite some time - great if you love the fragrance, not so great if you don t. Price wise, well at £16ish for a 125ml tube from the Aveda website, quite a lot for a handcream, and although it really does work well, the fragrance does put me off from buying it again, when there are lots of lovely smelling creams out there. If you do have very dry hands though, it would be worth a try just for the moisturising effect and you can try a 40ml tube for £5 - you never know, ...
