Brilliant really sums up this product. So review over right?! Not quite....

What Aveda claim:
They say this satiny pomade repels moisture helping to prevent frizziness and flyaways. It is also said to tame curls and is excellent in humid weather.

How much, where from?
The pomade costs £14.96 for 75mls, which i know is a lot of money for a styling product but it truly lasts forever! I bought mine from an Aveda stand inside selfridges. Aveda have stand alone stores and salons in big cities worldwide where you can also buy this.

How i use:
I have used this in a couple of ways. Firstly on damp hair a apply a little and run through the ends of my hair. Then i blow dry as normal. I find that this helps tame the frizz. Then i straighten with irons (GHD) and finish with a small amount of the pomade, rubbing it through my straightened hair. This keeps my style and stops my hair from waving through the day, and also keeps the frizz at bay. Secondly when having curly hair i rub a small amount through my fingers and scruch into just washed hair. This helps my hair to curl and keep the curl defined without frizz. I then use a diffuser to dry my hair and finish with more of the pomade scrunched onto my dry curls.

What i think:
I have badly behaved hair. It is naturally curly. When i have it curly it frizzes like mad and when i straighten it, it usually stays straight for ten minutes and then starts to get a wave. By the time i get home, it is again frizzy. It's even worse when it is remotely damp outside. Then my resue came along. This product is amazing. It smells natural and 'planty', you will know what i mean if you have bought Aveda in the past. If not all i can say is that the smell is not offensive. The texture is like a thick clear cream. Almost the texture of say vaseline. But it is not greasy if used sparingly. When i use as stated above whether im having my hair curly or straight it keeps it frizz free. I did use this while away in America and it was very humid. I went out all day with this on and came back at night with perfectly straight hair. It is that good and i've never found another product like it.
