I get my hair coloured every eight weeks at my hairdressers and inbetween visits this conditioner is my SOS product. It disguises my roots and replenishes any fading ends.
It comes in many different colours (Madder Root which gives a red tone, Black Malva which enriches dark colours etc). And it does actually change the colour of your hair, I've seen it used to create temporary streaks in light shades of hair.
Clove is predominantly for brunettes, my shade is a chestnut brown with blonde highlights. When used, it gives a rich depthness and a beautiful shine and doesn't leave a build up on the hair.
I've always had quite fine hair and have always needed volumising shampoos and conditioners, but when I use this conditioner in conjuction with the Clove shampoo I find it as good as any specific volumising product I've tried.
I personally love Aveda products, but even I think the price of this is a little steep, however not steep enough to put me off because I truly believe it's worth it. I do seem to get through the conditoner pretty rapidly though, 200g is a bit meesly for the price you're paying, I'd prefer to pay a little more for a larger tube!
The best place for prices, is yet again QVC, I pay £27.50 for two 200g tubes. It's also available from HQhair.com for £16.00 per tube, and Selfridges and Aveda salons for £17.00 per 200g tube. It may seem pricey but once you try it you really won't want to use anything else.
