My Favourite Toner (Aveda Exfoliant Liquid)
Member Name: luce123
Advantages: Smell, skin feels very smooth Disadvantages: Price
Although this is called an exfoliant (which in effect is what it is as it is removing the dead skin cells from the surface and cleansing the pores) it is what is commonly known to most people as a toner. It comes in a dark green glass bottle and the smell is totally and uterlly divine - very fresh. I have combination skin so it works well for me, I use it either morning or night and combine with another different (cheaper) toner literally because I believe if you use one product continually your skin gets too used to it and doesn't repond as well as it should (just my theory). It is expensive, for a medium sized bottle that will last you about 3 months it costs £20.00. You can buy it from large department stores such as Selfriges, Harvey Nicholls, Dickens and Jones. All of the Aveda range is gorgeus but this product works wonders - especially if you use in the morning pre-make up as it primes the skin well and foundation, powder etc. seems to stay on longer. My partner tells me my skin smells of refreshers after I have used it ! Summary: |
