Advantages: Soaks straight in to the skin, pleasing fragrance
Disadvantages: Can be hard to find
If like me you suffer from very sensitive skin, you'll know the nightmare of applying various cleansers and moisturisers only to be sporting the worst case of acne/spots/rash/boils the very next day as one of those lovely (?) little chemical ingredients has reacted big time!! And since developing M.E. I seemed to have developed even more of an intolerance to various chemical based products...so what's the answer?? Drum roll....bring on the Aveda I say....... Aveda products are very very gentle, they are all purely plant essence based and without a trace of a petro-chemical to be seen!! I have never experienced any sort of reaction from any Aveda product, and their Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion is like a healing mask for my skin. I'd drink the stuff if I could!!! So what can I tell you about this wonderful product? Well firstly, it soaks straight into the skin leaving no oily residue and has a lovely gentle and fresh fragrance that wont irritate even the most sensitive of skins! And believe me, there are none more sensitive than mine!!! Secondly, the lotion adds moisture to your skin and leaves it feeling silky smooth and supple and the natural plant based ingredients provide all the nourishment your skin needs. The product comes in an attractive green glass bottle with pump dispenser and is very economical in that you need to use so little of it. Also, a little tip here, I add just a dab of self tan cream to mine so that I end up with a gentle 'glow' as well as silky smooth skin!! What more can I say? It's gentle, smells delicious, doesnt react with my skin and my skin has never looked better..the only problem I can come up with at all is the availability of the product. It doesn't seem to be too widely available (as it's a salon product) but you can purchase yours from the same place that I do..er....erm....QVC..the Shopping Channel *ashamed* Try it, it's wonderful...I pro
mise...
