Advantages: Great clean feeling, packe full of natural ingredients

Disadvantages: Have to travel to get to Aveda

There is isn't always enought time to spend hours mooching around the beauty counters in selfridges to search on new great products. That's why when i was on holiday in New York I decided to camp out at the Aveda shop on 5th avenue for a while and see what i was missing out on. I came away with this product and a few other.

What do Aveda say it does?
They say the creme removes surface dirt and impurities. It is supposed to be extra mild as it contains lots of natural ingredients inclusing camomile, vitamin E and soapwort. It is recommended to be used on people with normal to dry skin.

What i thought:
I love Aveda packaging and this is no exception. The smoked green glass looks lovely on my bathroom shelf and the pump dispenser makes it easy to apply the right amount. It is quite a liquidy cream so all i did to apply was wet my face first, apply a little of the cream and you immediately start to see all the make up and grime dissolve. The smell of the product is very natural and 'planty' if that makes any sense! Then just rinse off and say buy bye to the muck. After patting my face dry i noticed just how hourished my skin felt. It really does feel clean without being dry or tight. After using for a few weeks it didnt bring me out in spots like other cleansers have done in the past.

Cost/Where to buy:
Aveda has stand alone stores in most cities as well as counters in places like Selfridges and Harvey Nics. This cleaner costs £14.69 for 150mls but like i said before a little goes a long way which makes it good value.

Other products in this range to try:
The skin firming toner is lovely (you just spritz it on your face) which i love. There is a hydrating lotion available to which again i didnt find to heavy.

Summary: Fantastic cleanser really brought my skin to life
