I started using Aveda shampoos about five years ago when I was pregnant and my hair had become a like a greasy floor mop.

The first time I used it my hair was left soft silky and shiny, but so what almost every time I try a new shampoo it works the first time. That is where the difference between Aveda and other shampoo lies it continues to work time after time. When other brands start to build up and leave a dull residue on the hair.

Aveda shampoos are all made using organically grown plant esscences and use coconut as the foaming agent not detergent. This means they do not strip the hair of it's natural oils or overstimulate the scalp. Thus they are suitable for all hairtypes.

I use a few shampoos from this range but shampure is my favourite because it is an excellent allrounder. All the family use it most of the time.

The difference between Shampure and some of the others in this range is that it contains a protien complex to strengthen hair and I have found that my split ends caused by blow drying have been reduced.

Because it is so gentle I found it was perfect to use on my baby daughter, I just mixed it with warm water before application because it is very concentrated.

Concentration brings me on to my final point that this shampoo is very good value for money , I buy the one litre bottle and it lasts all four of us six to seven months and that is using it every day.
