Advantages: Smells lovely, Mild, Leaves hair feeling soft

Disadvantages: Not helpful for fine hair

I started using Shampure when I used to stay with my Partner's Parents. There was always a big bottle of it by the bath and after a few uses of it I decided to buy some for myself. Shampure always left my hair feeling really, really soft and smelling wonderful.

I've used 2 large bottles over the last year, but have now stopped using it. According to my hairdresser Shampure is really meant for colour-treated or damaged hair - although the bottle doesn't mention this. My hair is neither, but is really, really fine and the extra protein in Shampure was (according to the hairdresser) adding to my flyaway, fine hair problems.

I bought Shampure in the large bottles as this is much better value, although it does mean that you need to buy a travel bottle for holidays, as taking a litre with you is a bit extreme :-) I paid £23 for a large bottle from the Aveda shop (we're lucky enough to have one in Brighton) and even with washing my hair every day, that lasted for about 6 months.

That's interesting, I've got fine hair too and I've never really got on with Shampure. I thought it was a 'universal' one but if not that would kind of make sense. Thanks for the info. xx

I see you have written a couple of opinions in quick succession. You will find that you will get higher ratings if you write the ops more spaced out, with more details & info included.
