	Mamas & Papas Once Upon a Time Star Lite Baby Swing ... pregnant, I fell in love with this swing and really did feel that it would be the perfect item for getting my baby off to sleep, as well as providing him with entertainment while awake. At £90 this was a very expensive buy but at the time I thought would be worth the investment. However once my baby was born and I started to use the swing I quickly realised that it was more gimicky than anything, and it soon got religated to my attic. The swing does not have a true lye flat position, so it s not great for a newborn s back. The bar across the front with hanging toys is really difficult to unclick, as well as the straps being a total nightmare to clip in your bab... 	Mamas & Papas Once Upon a Time Star Lite Baby Swing ... daughter is six weeks old and from birth she has a vibrating sling type chair. She quickly discovered that she liked to be moved around a lot to keep her entertained. I decided to replace the vibrating chair for a swinging one. I shopped around and this chair seemed to be the most compact and appealing to the eye. My daughter likes being in the chair but doesn t tend to sleep very well in it. A little extra padding in the seat would be nice. The swing has numerous settings on. The swing level can be altered to suit baby s mood, there are a few song choices and there is also an automatic timer which switches the swing off after 5, 10 and 15 minutes. The automatic timer ... 	Mamas & Papas Once Upon a Time Star Lite Baby Swing ... was bought for us as a present after our little girl was born, the idea is that it is meant to rock her to sleep. Unfortunately our baby did not appreciate this item, the item itself is very appealing to the eye but it does have some issues with it. The harness does not seem to hug the baby it is very low down and did not give me confidence that it would hold her in place. The starlight canopy is not very strong in terms of lights so would only really work properly when the room lights were off... not very practical.
