      Very helpful

Excellent buy if you've got the frame to go with it

Amby Baby Bouncer available to buy at www.amby.co.uk

The Amby Baby Bouncer is very similar to the normal baby door bouncers that you see nowadays with one exception - it doesn't hang from the door.

      The Price

The cost to buy the Amby Baby Bouncer new from the Amby store is £19.99

      My Experience

I'd always wanted to try one of the baby door bouncers for my older two children, but always thought they looked a little unsafe. I had also seen the state some of my friends walls had ended up in after using them for their children, so had always decided against it.

With my third child I used an Amby Baby Natures Nest hammock so when I discovered the Baby Bouncer I was very keen to give it a try.

It works just the same as a normal door bouncer except that it hangs from a sturdy metal frame. It is suitable for babies up to 33lb from as soon as they can sit steadily and unaided. Another benefit of the Amby Baby Bouncer is that it can be used outside as well as inside, so it is great in the summer if you are out in the garden.

The downside of this is that you really need to have the hammock first as you need the frame from the hammock for the bouncer. You can't buy the frame on its own and you can't buy the bouncer with the frame so if you wanted to buy just the bouncer it wouldn't be worth it.

My daughter absolutely loved playing in this. When she was younger, she would just bounce and work at strengthening her legs. When she got a bit bigger she would go in it and dance to music and when she was a little bigger still she got a bit more adventurous and would pull the bouncer right back, run forwards and jump so that it would spring her backwards. She would spend hours in her bouncer giggling and laughing. In the summer, we would put it out in the garden while our older two children were playing and she really felt like she was playing with them.

Overall, if you have or are going to have the Amby hammock this is a fantastic buy - great value for money and great fun for your little one.
