Advantages: Good for the younger children, brightly coloured.
Disadvantages: None
My husband and I purchased this for my brother in law's little girl for her brithday at the beginning of the year. It cost £22.99 in the Argos sale. We wanted to get her something nice, girly and a little bit different to the standard dolls she seemed to be inundated with.
The trampoline is a mini trampoline and is suitable for babies, starting from ages 1 and going all the way up to 3 year olds. It isn't a huge trampoline. In fact the box was quite small and when it was out and put together it measured around 25 inches in width and was less than 10 inches off of the ground so although it is still possible for a child to fall off, it hopefully wouldn't be with much force though I do recommend full parental supervison and not leaving a child unattended using this item.
It comes complete with an instruction booklet and the tools needed to build the trampoline. I watched my brother in law put it together as my niece wanted to use it right away and he had it all put together in about 15-20 minutes. It was fairly easy to do. You do need to put some strength into tightening it as the trampoline needs to be as tight as possible for 1) safety and 2) for your child to be able to bounce properly on it. Once it was put together, it was very sturdy and didn't wobble at all which I was pleased with. It also looked of very good quality. You have to make the frame up first and then the fabric slips over the frame.
The trampoline is made of dark and light pink fabric which is padded in some areas. The netting for the bounce of the trampoline is light pink. The fabric is made and stitched very well. It has rubber feet which go on the legs to make it nice and sturdy when your child is bouncing on it. It has a soft rubber handle in the centre for your child to hold on to whilst bouncing which is also pink to match the rest of the trampoline.
My niece enjoyed bouncing on this alot! It wasn't overly bouncy but she was pleased and spent much of the day on it! I do recommend this item. It is very well made and of a good quality.
