It can be extremely useful when the baby only lies on his back as you can put the play arch out for the baby and they can play with the toys. An ideal, cheap toy to keep you baby busy for hours, comes in bright colours and has five adjustable hanging toys. This is a lot cheaper and does the same job as other more expensive play gyms. The Argos catalogue says it is for ages 3 months + but I started using mine when my baby was 5 weeks. As he started focusing properly it was the ideal thing to use and the toys hand low enough for you baby to be able to play with them.
