The plastic piece slot easily into place. The gym has three toys that hang down over baby's head. One of these is a teddy bear holding a squeaker, another is like a ball with a bell in that baby can whizz round. There is also a mirror. These toys are secured on a plastic strap that can be made longer/shorter as required. These toys can be taken off and offered to baby as hand toys at a later stage. The reason that I love the Toys R Us baby gym is that it is so simple. There are no flashing lights or tacky tunes playing, this piece of equipment relies on baby exploring in order to make his own entertainment. This must be one of my best buys at just £9.99. I actually bought it to replace my fancy Fisher Price gym (£24.99) that was a total flop (see my other op). This gym is made of durable plastic and colours may vary, mine is bright purple and yellow.
