      Very helpful

I'd looked at a number of baby gyms - including the musical sound and light - but the Boots one appealed to me the most because of the sheer portability. This gym isn't made completely of plastic like the others. It has plastic poles but fabric attachments which came apart and all packed into a a clear plastic carry case. This, to me, was great as it meant not only could I store it out the way when it wasn't being used but it was easily transportable when he was going to visit his grandparents. The one I bought was a farmyard design (although I now think it's a Jungle theme). It has 3 attachments to the top which fasten with velcro - one was a rattle, one a mirror and one that played "Old McDonald". With them not being rigidly stuck on it meant I could take them off and give them to my baby to hold, which he loved. I also has crinkly fabric holding the poles together and 6 cubes on the sides with numbers and pictures on them. Again, you could easily slide these off. These came in particularly useful when he was older as he liked stacking them. Overall, the different textures that this gym provides, all in bright colours, is an excellent stimulus for a baby and as my child is now 18mths old and still using parts of it (the cubes), I can't recommend it highly enough.
