Like many Boots toys it really offers good value for money, and is very practical - it is machine washable and dries quickly. This has been a very good buy, unlike some mats it is a good size - large enough to cover the base of our large wooden playpen. It has lots of things to do, there is a snake with a curly crinkly tail, 2 peekaboo flaps which crinkle and reveal a hidden animal, little doors with velcro which open up to reveal Noah & wife, a pocket containing a fabric book with more animal pictures, a peekaboo mirror hidden under the sun (very popular), and the material on the back seems to be non-slip as it doesn't move around on the carpet and the mat cannot be pulled along with baby on it (as big sister has tried numerous times!).
